Masloske Family’s Highlights of 2007 & (the beginning of) 2008
|

· The biggest highlight of our 2007 year was the birth of David John, who was born on March 5th. He has brought us so much joy and delight. He has us all saying, “How did we ever live without Ducky?” How did Ducky get his nickname? He makes a face by curling up his lips in such a way that it looks like a duck bill!
· Another huge highlight of the year was that Daddy, Grandma & Andrew got baptized in the beautiful water of Silver Lake. After that, we had a small church service. We ended it off by having a big party: we swam, barbequed, played baseball and Frisbee, and had a wonderful time praising and thanking our Heavenly Father for His mighty work in our family member’s hearts.
· Daddy got a new job! After getting laid off from his prior job, he was able to stay home for 3 months with us! He got a new job at which is a little closer than what he used to have to drive. But, Lord willing, in 2010 they are moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin which will only be about 15 minutes away from here! We are all very excited about these changes in our lives.
· We were blessed to be able to go up to St. Germain, Wisconsin once again last year. It had looked like we were going to just skip vacation altogether last year, but the Lord had different plans for us. The day before we would normally go, we made a last-minute choice to go. A beautiful cabin/house was available on the Little St. Germain Lake, so we made the 7 hour drive up to our beloved vacation home. It was the very best vacation we can remember! From swimming to tennis to playing at the playground to fishing to hanging around the house to just taking a walk by yourself in the quiet resort on the lake, it was truly the wonderful, relaxing vacation we all needed! · Another highlight of 2007 was that we had many times of sweet fellowship with friends and family. One of the blessings of the boy’s baseball and softball leagues is that it gives us a chance to see our Grandparents quite often. · Angela’s magazine, Godly Girls, was featured in the Teacher’s Lounge in the Spring ‘07 issue of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine which brought many new subscribers and pen pals. · In November, Abandoned to God was officially launched! · In December 2007 we found out that we were going to have another baby! · As for 2008, we threw a big surprise party for Mommy’s 40th birthday at our Grandparent’s house! It was great to honor our Mommy in such a surprising way!!!
